Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board is responsible for supervising the policies pursued by the Management Board as well as the general affairs of Darwin Depositary Services. It advises the Management Board on all aspects relating to the company. In performing their duties, the Supervisory Board shall act in the interest of Darwin Depositary Services and its business, taking into account the interests of all stakeholders involved. All current members of the Supervisory Board are independent in accordance with the Best Practice provisions of the Dutch corporate governance code. Members of the Supervisory Board are:

Piet Molenaar
Piet has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Amongst others he was Director Global Solutions Benelux and Nordics with Allianz Global Investors and director with several pension funds like Pensioenfonds UWV and Pensioenfonds Stork. Currently Piet is an independent Board member and advisor to the investment committee of several pension funds.

Johan Schipper
Johan has been active in the real estate industry for over 17 years. Until 2008 he was a member of the board of directors of Nieuwe Steen Investments N.V., a real estate fund listed at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. Today, Johan is owner of a real estate investing company in the Netherlands.
